MY DAY AT AN ORPHANAGE........

Well ...just now I received a SMS from my frnd which says...LIFE NEVER SEEMS TO BE THE WAY WE WANT IT,BUT WE LIVE IT THE BEST WAY WE CAN.THERE IS NO PERFECT LIFE,BUT WE CAN FILL IT WITH PERFECT MOMENTS.....ya,surely this carries a great meaning for me.Today I spent my time in orphanage ..thanks to my friends for this idea.We arranged lunch for the children staying there..I can simply say that people who had never been to an orphanage missed a lot in life..children calling me'akka',little kids asking me to play 'cricket'(my goodness!!how can i play cricket..when i never touched a bat!but I managed to play so that I didn't disappoint them!)girls asking my name and ofcourse I asked their aim(to my surprise they said they wanna become engineers ...how crazy are we!)when we were bading them goodbye..all of them sang songs for us..and at that moment tears rolled in my eyes..tears which carry a lot of meaning..tears which made me feel sorry,for all these days I missed a lot..Once my friend told me that we smile for everyone but shed tears only for people we love!!And yes she is correct; After spending a day with them..I came to realise that even small things as these can cause a lot of happiness and there is no substitute for those cherubic smiles on the faces of those little kids..
